About Us
Joe Kaprielian, Founder of Joe’s Organization for Youth, is an alumnus of Stanford University and a star on Nickelodeon sitcom Henry Danger. As a high school freshman, Kaprielian decided to take initiative after volunteering for various charitable organizations and finding that the individual and creative development of young people was not being catered to. By establishing a nonprofit organization at the ripe age of 16, Kaprielian developed programs that focused on promoting the creative expression of young people.

In Kaprielian’s opinion, young people will not be able to thrive in society if they are not aware of the opportunities available to them. Thus, the organization works to expose young people to enriching opportunities in the real world.

Beyond these programs, the organization brings JOY through mass holiday toy and clothing distributions. Kaprielian believes that by handpicking toys and clothing items for each individual and having young volunteers distribute them, the organization helps children and adolescents who are experiencing difficult socioeconomic conditions understand that they matter.

With an unwavering passion for positive change, Kaprielian continues to expand the organization year after year. Thus far, the organization has been recognized by the United States Congress, California State Senate, California State Assembly, Los Angeles County, the Armenian International Medical Fund, and various municipalities for its contributions.
